To all UTM MSc Students,

Attached is the slide that I presented during our promotional talk on 22 May 2013.

Few important things to be highlighted :

1. The due date for online application has been extended to 30 June 2013.

2. Ainuddin Wahid Scholarship is now opened. The due date is on 7 June 2013. This scholarship will be awarded to five UTM PhD local students who are in their first/second semester. This includes a monthly allowance of RM4K for 3 years, research funds of RM10K, research attachment etc. More info can be obtained at www.sps.utm.my/scholarship. Those who have been offered Zamalah or MyPhD can also apply. This scholarship will be offered for the next 5 years.

3. SPS can automatically issue an offer letter to all Final Year (UG & MSc) UTM Students. But you need to give your name and details (IC, Matric, Hp, name of proposed program), and proposed supervisor to the Faculty. Better yet if you have the proof (email/letter) from the proposed supervisor that they agree to supervise you. The offer letter is for full research only (for MSc). Otherwise, you have to apply online. Senate letter is not needed to apply but you need it when you register for next intake (September). Students who have passed their viva can also apply. But you cannot register in the same semester that you graduated. 

4. We will also offer Zamalah Scholarship to all local PhD students when they registered.

5. Registration for next semester is on 27-29 August 2013 (JB) and 3-4 September 2013 (KL).
